About the SCCGA
The primary purpose of the Santee Cooper Country Guides Association is to promote fisheries
management and conservation of resources on the Santee Cooper Lakes,
and to promote co-operative partnerships among these professional
guides, public and private sector organizations, businesses, corporations
and individuals supportive of the goals and objectives of the association.
These goals and many of our objectives are shared by other professional
guides associations throughout the country, and we are proud to
support and adhere to them on our world famous fishing lakes. For
